New things!

It’s been an interesting week. Last week, I launched my superb new website that can act as a sweet on-the-go portfolio.

Yesterday, I played assistant at a jewelry photo shoot. I ventured up to Allentown to a neat restauratnt called Cosmopolitan. I met up with a photographer from Exton – Mary Kate Timbers – and helped set-up lighting and played the part of the reflector. From what I saw, the photos were pretty phenomenal. Bam. (And at this point, you’re all also welcome to get the Mary-Kate and Ashley stuff out of the way, we got a kick out of it, too!)

The jewelry being modeled was made by Tiffany Brown, and she was local out of Allentown. Once the photos are up, I’ll have all the information necessary about who was who and I’ll even see if I can post anything more than my glorious foot, which launched its unexpected modelling career this weekend.

I had a lot of fun, and hope that I can definitely get more hands-on experience! (Note to self… ModelMayhem? something to tackle?…)

Tomorrow, I’m actually starting a class at Del Tech. I’ll be taking two classes for the next couple of months. I’m pretty excited. It’s going to be a long day, but it’s time to start getting out and doing things again. For the last few months, I haven’t been getting out, but have been doing a lot of web work. Business cards are next.

For my birthday, I’m anticipating a new camera purchase, so things should be on the up and up.

For once, I might be able to start making money on my own terms and then at one point I might be able to get on back to school!

Brownies, anyone?

Well, you can’t have any, because I’ve only got one. And it’s pretty old!

It’s a Kodak Brownie Holiday and it’s mine! All mine!

Another new friend!

I got this little buddy in the mail yesterday!

I gave my VCR away a long time ago…

Oh snap!

It’s a camera!

A sexy little black and chrome Sonar SX70. My second Polaroid. Now I just need to get film for it!!!

For Your Amusement

Tracy and I took a mini trip to the abandoned amusement park last night. Cut short by the impending darkness, we’ll have to finish up at a later date. But I definitely got some more fun stuff to print.

Here are some of the photos from yesterday.

And now for some silliness… =)

Panoramas! Part 2!

Second set! Tomorrow’s the last day of a 6-day work run. So glad for that to be over. Perhaps Monday will be a great day in the name of photo.

By the way, for a little background… These were taken with a little panoramic camera I got for Christmas. These were taken in February after the second big snow storm in Delaware. Obviously, these were taken quite a bit after the storm, when roads were navigate-able and the snow was melted enough to allow adventures and exploration.

Most of these were taken in Elkton, Maryland. Others were taken around Brandywine and Talleyville, Delaware.
