This Wednesday morning, I’m going to be speaking to some students about photography for an art project they’re going to be given! I’m a little excited, a bit terrified and a trifle sad that on the day of my first 12pm shift, I still have to get up at 7am.
Anyway, I did this over the summer as well, only I was speaking for about 15 minutes. This time I’m going to have to fill 40!
I’ll probably recycle the presentation I gave before, which included photos of self-portraits, portraits and places – and update it with some newer photos. I’m not sure what other criteria I’ll have, but it should be interesting!
Today was grueling. After a three week vacation, frolicking and playing around on my own time, I had to buckle down and get up at 6:30 in order to ready myself for my first 8 a.m. shift at my brand new job.
I’m working as a Claims Aversion Representative and just endured the first of a 3 week training course. I was brought back to the days of college lectures and actually having to do things during the day. It’ll be interesting.
Anyhoo, because of my brand new job, my posts may or may not be a bit more sporadic than normal.
After pretty much having to delete and re-make all of my pages, I’m thinking that ShleeVincent.com is about ready to be back on go. This new theme has some pretty hefty pointers to different galleries of the mediums that I’m working with and that I’d like to be pretty prominent. Hopefully all goes as planned. Of course, it doesn’t seem to be taking too nicely to my gallery formats, so hopefully I’ll find something that will work nicely in that vein.
From this point, however, I think updates will be resuming. Hooray.
If it’s not apparent, I’m working on a new layout for this webpage. All of the content has moved, however, with a recent spell of headaches, the renovations are on hold.
