Self-Portrait!

I’m thinking that a self-portrait or two would be completely acceptable. Today, I started toying with a few ideas and I think that they totally suit me.

The last time I took a self-portrait was last summer. I was house-sitting at a farm. At night, except for the passing cars, it was completely dark. I got to know my “bulb” setting very well that night and had a lot of fun making that photo.

Prior to that, I was assigned to take this one for my photojournalism class with Monica Lopossay. I thought it would be fun to strip right down to the basics – while keeping it playful (kinda like me!).

I like keeping these a little playful, but I’m sure that I could use these self-portraits as a way of self-exploration, too.
