Meet Sarah
This is Sarah. She’s a friend of mine that I use to work with at the portrait studio. She’s got her own little photography set-up of her own outside of portrait studio-land as well. Anyway, she was willing to help me out with my exploration into portraits.
Sarah described herself on her Facebook page as a “hip-gothie,” meaning somewhere between the labels of a hippie and a goth. Some of her favorite spots to relax and take photos are different graveyards. Yesterday, she wasn’t exactly prepared to be a photo subject, but she was willing. So, after a play-date with her little nephew, we walked down the street to one of her favorite haunts (no pun intended, although she says it’s actually haunted) – The St. James’ Episcopal Church (as previously mentioned here).
These are my favorites from the shoot.
Please, let me know what you think! This project is meant for my improvement. Any insight is most certainly appreciated. That means you!

The gate shots are RAD. One of these days you’re going to take my picture and I’m going to love it.
