Portraits…?

So, after almost a year at the portrait studio, I’m done. And since I’ve got about two and a half weeks off, so I’m thinking that I’m going to tackle what I’ve never been good at: Portraits.

Now, this may sound strange considering my past job. But after looking at Feather & Stone, it brought me back to my days of photojournalism and the dreaded stranger portrait. And the thing about these versus the ones I took at work is that these are striking and different.

Anyhoo, what I’m thinking about doing is trying to take a portrait every day during my time off. It’s a little goal for myself – and it’ll get me out of the house! =)
