At least I had backup!

A few weeks ago, I shot a roll of 120 film at night along Kirkwood Highway. When I emptied the camera, the film was pretty loose on the spool. It didn’t look good, but I saved it in a dark bag in hopes that it would be salvageable. It was not. Luckily for me, because I’m still testing out my new light meter, I brought my digital camera along as a tester.

All of the buildings (with the exception of the church) were defunct businesses. The buffet in the last photo was just recently torn down.

These are essentially the images I shot with the Diana (except these are all 35mm, not medium format):

[...] Sarah described herself on her Facebook page as a “hip-gothie,” meaning somewhere between the labels of a hippie and a goth. Some of her favorite spots to relax and take photos are different graveyards. Yesterday, she wasn’t exactly prepared to be a photo subject, but she was willing. So, after a play-date with her little nephew, we walked down the street to one of her favorite haunts (no pun intended, although she says it’s actually haunted) – The St. James’ Episcopal Church (as previously mentioned here).
