Updates!

So, since I’ve rekindled my relationship with my photo oil colors. I decided to add a new section to my Portfolio!

I learned about hand coloring photographs two summers ago, when I took a black and white photography course with Nancy Breslin. She also taught the alternative processes classes there, so in my short session, our final project (Straight and Bent) allowed us to experiment with different types of finishes on black and white photos (like Solarization and distorting images by enlarging them through plastic wrap or paper towels). Hand coloring was another option.

These scanned pretty badly, but they’re really not that grainy. Anyhoo, they are some of the first ones I’ve done since class, so, there’s always room to better myself.
