Welcome to ShleeVincent.com.
My name is Shlee (Ashley) Vincent. I am an experimental photographer who is also looking to help you with your commercial photography needs. I am experienced in people and animal portraiture, weddings and events. I specialize in medium format films and am currently experimenting with cyanotypes.
Photography really came into a focus in my life while I was in college. During a trip to Michigan to visit my grandparents in 2007, I began to realize the power that I had with my point and shoot. Hundreds of photographs later, I found myself making the important step into the world of DSLR cameras. Now, I’ve expanded my arsenal to include a Nikon F3 and D40 SLRs, a Polaroid 340 Land camera and several toy cameras – including my trusty Diana F+ and my Lubitel 166U.
I graduated with a degree in mass communications from Towson University. I studied under the journalism track and was one course short for a creative writing minor.
Here, I’ll be building an online portfolio – chock full of accomplishments – while also allowing the world to keep tabs on the other things I’m working on.
